The Dayton Linux Users Group (or DLUG) is Dayton’s oldest user group promoting and supporting Linux and other Free Software. We’re also a special interest group of the Dayton Microcomputer Association (DMA).
At our monthly meetings, we may have one or more presentation topics planned, or we simply discuss news and projects of interest to our members. (We’re working on planning presentations for more of our meetings, and could use some volunteers — hint, hint!). Our attendees include anyone from experienced Linux system administrators to those who have been hearing about Linux and want to learn more.
We also hold Installfests several times a year, where anyone can bring in a system and get Linux installed and configured on it for free.
In short, whether you are just getting interested in Linux or have years of experience, we’ll offer help, teach you new skills, and provide a fun gathering place where you can chat with other Linux fans. Come out and join us!
