Presentations/Topics:

Chuck Gelm will present an overview of AREDN networking.

AREDN builds open source firmware for certain 802.11b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi devices such as those used by wireless Internet service providers. The firmware is a modification of OpenWRT, and works on a subset of OpenWRT-compatible devices whose wireless chipset can be modified to operate on Amateur Radio frequencies. This firmware is actively developed and has had significant improvements in capability and, recently, a new user interface.
